Electroporation Cuvettes
|
| |
Spectrocell
introduces Electroporation Cuvettes in popular sizes;
1mm, 2mm, and 4mm gaps. High quality and economical, these cuvettes
designed
for use in electroporation and electrofusion of bacteria, yeast, insect,
plant and mammalian cells. All cuvettes are
sterilized and individually sealed in it's own
plastic bag. Spectrocell
Electroporation Cuvettes
are molded with embedded aluminum electrodes.
Round
friction-fit caps are leak resistant.
Spectrocell
Electroporation
Cuvettes are priced to be truly
disposable, discard after use. Product availability: Immediate -

ICP Ware
|
|
Over the years, many Spectrocell customers,
impressed by our high quality and competitively priced cuvettes, have
requested us to provide ICP ware for their labs. Now, after 2 years in
development, Spectrocell is proud to announce the availability of
ICP torches, spray chambers, nebulizers, and other replacement parts.
All critical components of our torches are fabricated from quartz
precision bore tubing, insuring absolute repeatability. Stringent
quality standards are applied to every step in the manufacturing process
from the beginning precision bore tubing through final annealing and
inspection. For this reason, it is possible for us to guarantee
that the specifications on our torches matches, or exceeds, the
tolerances held by the original equipment manufacturer.

Gas Filled Cells
|
|
Spectrocell has the capability to provide quartz or
borosilicate glass cells that contain pure gases, or mixtures of pure
gases, as specified by the user. Such cells are used as calibration
standards or for other applications where a repeatable spectrum is
desirable.
The cell is evacuated down to 10 microns of pressure and then purged
with the gas or gas mixture. The cell is then permanently sealed closed
by fusing shut the filling aperture. The pressure of gas in the cell can
generally be controlled very accurately from about 750 torr (.985
atmosphere) down to 50 to 60 Pa (about 0.5 torr). Exact pressures and
specific repeatability are dependant on the specific gas or gas mixture
required. Once sealed closed the lifetime of the cell is very long and
limited only by the permeability of the glass or quartz itself to the
particular gases involved. Contact our technical sales department with
your requirements for a prompt quotation. |

Polystyrene MicroPlates
|
|
SPECTROCELL is now
pleased to introduce a new generation of Microplates.
The SPECTROCELL SMP Series of Quartz
Microwell plates offers several advantages for these tests due to their
inherent resistance to solvents, acids and hydroxides. However, for
applications not requiring these features, we offer the Polystyrene
Microplates.
These Microplates are made from high
quality clear polystyrene and feature:
- Compatible with plate readers, washers &
dispensers.
- Alpha numeric coordinates
- Excellent optical clarity
- Uniform surfaces
- Available with 3 different well shapes -
- Suitable for immunoassays (ELISA / EIA),
and other diagnostic tests such as geometric dilutions, blood group
serology, hemagglutination and hemagglutination inhibition tests,
antibody tests, antistreptolysin-O-titer determination, and complement
fixation reactions.
- Sterile Microplates are provided with
lids

- SPECTROCELL
releases portable Luminometer!
|
|
The new SPECTROCELL
INSPECTOR II Luminometer is the first sanitation control system to meet
all the requirements for implementing and maintaining your HACCP
program. Developed based on extensive field investigation involving both
industry as well as inspection agencies, the INSPECTOR makes it possible
to utilize rapid microbiological testing procedures for monitoring
critical control points that are compatible with standard methods and
which also provide data recording and transfer capability.
The system comes complete
with printer, digital pipettor, power supply, reagent kit and carrying
case at a low cost and provides the following:
-
System flexibility for
variety of tests.
-
Automated injection allows
rapid, error-free tests and permits repeatability and the low MDL's.
-
On-board data storage &
downloading allows easy recording and printing.

SPECTROCELL releases the latest development in microplate
technology!
|
|
PITTCON '98
provided an ideal platform for users to discuss their needs and concerns
in the analysis of proteins, DNA and other sensitive compounds in
clinical and microbiological samples. The new SPECTROCELL SMP Series of
Quartz microwell plates offers several advantages for these tests due to
their inherent resistance to solvents, acids and hydroxides. Designed
specifically for these sensitive analysis, the microplates minimize
background problems, increase signal to noise ratio and savings in
reagents. The 8 (SMP-308, SMP-308b) and 96 (SMP-396, SMP-396b) position
microplates are manufactured by fusing the base and body under
controlled conditions for an air tight seal. These microplates are
available in clear quartz for UV-VIS applications and in self-masking
(black) body for fluorescence. The microplates are guaranteed to be free
of defects and contaminants and polished to meet the most exacting flat
optical specification. Their stability at high temperature allows for
autoclaving and sterilization. The SPECTROCELL microplates have the same
number, dimension, layout and volume as the standard plastic
microplates to be easily interchanged for your special applications.
Microplates in other custom sizes and numbers are available. |
